January 11-14, 2018 (Sponsors)
Please join us for the 7th annual Tee It Up for the Troops REUNION Outreach Program at Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida and support all those who sacrifice(d) much for our freedoms.
“…Most of them wanted to be back there, in their own ways. Like so many vets, they missed the camaraderie. And as with so many vets, their lives at home were defined less by togetherness than by isolation.”
“…I can’t tell you how much the time at Reunion meant to me and my wife. She couldn’t stop talking about how much better she understood my injury and PTSD after sitting through the Caregiver breakout session. I was able to meet some great warriors, sponsors, and all around great people who I now consider my friends."
”This weekend was one of the greatest moments of my life since becoming a wounded warrior and the camaraderie was absolutely incredible. To be part of such an organizational event and to be around other Wounded Warriors was definitely a healing feeling."
“I wanted to thank you for having me and my wife down for this event. You have given me just a little more hope that things can get better and that there are good people in the world. The stories of inspiration from this weekend and just the support I received from perfect strangers was more than I ever expected from this weekend.”
“Wow! Thank you so much for including me in the event. It turned out to be so much more than I expected. The event went way beyond a traditional golf outing. I got a lot out of the breakout session and I met some more really great people that I will now be great friends with”
“…Enabling me to reunite with my fellow Warriors from afar means a great deal to me, my family and my overall well-being. The ability for me to see friends I haven’t seen in a year and to meet new Warriors in such a peaceful environment means the world to me.”
“No other organization has mastered the process of getting Warriors together each year. Your hard work, dedication and unwavering contributions to the wounded, injured and ill are highly visible and truly, truly appreciated.”
“Thank you so very much for hosting such an amazing “Reunion” event! It was such fun to get a chance to reminisce with the guys and spend time with the caregivers."

Reuniting Combat Veterans
In 2012, Tee It Up for the Troops launched a new veterans outreach initiative entitled “Reunion.” The concept of this unique program is to reunite wounded, ill or injured service members who had been separated due to battlefield injuries, changes in rehabilitation status, or for other reasons beyond their control. The objective is that through these reunions, participating veterans and their caregivers can dramatically enhance their transition process into productive and fulfilling civilian lifestyles.
Hosted in a secure and supportive environment, and staged around the rehabilitative aspects of the game of golf, participants at Reunion can not only reconnect with those who are most trusted, but also develop new relationships and support networks to help them “heal, transition, grow, and thrive.” Throughout Reunion, these wounded warriors enjoy therapeutic time on the golf course and also participate in a variety of helpful sessions to support a healthy lifestyle, including:
- Breakout sessions for veterans and caregivers to share triumphs, challenges and the latest updates on available support networks and services
- Access to counseling support for employment, substance abuse, PTS and other valued services
- Activities specifically designed for caregivers support, idea sharing and discussions on various services available for their own well-being as well as their warriors
- Strategy sessions with key partners to develop even better programs to meet the growing needs of America’s veterans
- And much more.
