Thank you to Desert Mountain Club for hosting a Phoenix charity golf event to help our American heroes get
back on course!Please join us for the 3rd annual Tee It Up for the Troops event on the Outlaw Course at Desert Mountain Club as we honor all U.S. military service members and support all those who have sacrificed so much to serve our nation.
This will surely be a memorable day as we are honored to have Medal of Honor recipients on-site for this event! The Medal of Honor is our nation’s highest and most prestigious military award that recognizes gallantry and acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty. There are only 67 living Medal of Honor recipients at this time.
Each sponsored foursome will be joined by a Medal of Honor recipient or a local combat wounded veteran!
This very special Phoenix charity golf event will include an impactful opening ceremony, a great day of golf, a fabulous post-event reception with presentations by the Medal of Honor attendees, and an auction featuring amazing items.
From the battlefront to the home front.
The change from the battlefront to the home front can be particularly challenging for combat veterans, who often are working through war-related PTSD, depression, anxiety, and more. Our support for these American Heroes should never end once they come home from war. These brave Americans volunteered and fought for our nation and they are not getting the services they need. We believe we can and should do better by them and are asking for your help to be able to continue to do so. Corporate and individual supporters are needed to help combat warriors overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds and regain their independence.
Proceeds to support critical areas of need for disabled veterans.
Proceeds from this Phoenix charity golf event will benefit the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and the Tee It Up for the Troops REUNION that reunites combat veterans with their comrades from the battlefield.

Tee It Up for the Troops was founded in 2005 with the mission to honor, remember, respect, and support those who serve(d) in our nation's armed forces. We believe that support for America's heroes was never meant to end once they come home. For many, a whole new battle begins once they leave the service which is why we are proud to support active duty servicemembers and veterans of all eras. Tee It Up for the Troops events raise funds that support national and local veteran service organizations helping veterans through 6 key pillars: PTSD & traumatic brain injury support, suicide awareness & prevention, housing & homelessness, veteran employment, family support, sports rehabilitation.
A portion of the funds raised will also support the Tee It Up for the Troops REUNION outreach program. REUNION reunites combat veterans who were separated, often due to battlefield injuries bringing battle buddies and their caregivers together for a healing event that aims to help combat veterans transition to fulfilling civilian lives.
Tee It Up for the Troops is dedicated to maximum transparency and fiscal responsibility. We have received high-ratings from Charity Watchdogs such as Charity Navigator (100/100), Guidestar (Platinum rating), and Great-Nonprofits (Top-Rated). Our administrative costs average <6% and our high level of volunteer engagement ensures as much money as possible goes directly to supporting veterans and their families.

Join our Tee It Up for the Troops - Bunker Hills Longest Day of Golf for the Troops military charity golf fundraising event! This local military charity golf event will be held at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids, MN and anyone can participate.
You may recall “The Longest Day” was a famous book and movie honoring those who fought for our freedom on D-Day. The Longest Day of Golf for the Troops is a unique opportunity for golfers to honor all who serve(d) to fight for our freedom and allows anyone to support veterans with any number of participants.
Event Details
Golfers will Tee It Up at the crack of dawn, and play golf until sundown to raise money for Tee It Up for the Troops and their partner military charitable organizations serving the critical needs of fallen and disabled veterans and their families.
Entry Package Includes (a minimum of $350 raised & paid by June 10th):
- At least 54-holes of golf (golfers played as many as 110 holes last year), including carts (refreshed every 27 holes). Golfers can enter as a foursome, or as individuals or twosomes that we will pair up, and we play a fun two-player scramble format throughout the day.
- Coffee and bagels will be provided at check-in (6:00 a.m. check-in, 6:20 a.m. start).
- Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided throughout the day.
- Player gift for each golfer.
If you are interested in participating in the Longest Day of Golf for the Troops, there are 2 different ways to raise funds from friends, family, and coworkers (which will count towards your entry fee and incentive prizes):
